YASHICA
Explosion of Yashica evoke the relationship between the past and the present, capturing an obsolete technology in a transparent material that suggests the preservation of an artifact. The camera, once used to immortalize moments through photography, is now itself frozen in a permanent structure. This composition can also evoke modern archaeology, where everyday technological objects become relics of a bygone era. The work thus raises questions about memory, technology, and preservation in a world where everything seems fleeting.

The infamous yashica T5 is known to be one of the best point & shoot. It did not survive the adventures it was given him to live. So to push the limit of the objects further it was immortalized. Like this yashica used to do all his life, Immortalize the moment it was given to shoot.
